Veterans have their eye on the prize

HOBOKEN, NJ -- The veteran squad Front Flags = Ball Grabs were looking to bounce back from last week’s loss to the Flutie Boys, and did just that as they faced Eli Elites. They had complete control to start the game, beginning with 2 touches and 2 touchdowns from Dave Stevens. Along with that came a sack and safety by Nick Vallillo. The Eli Elites needed to step up and respond fast, which they did thanks to Jake Krantz, who caught a pass across field for a much-needed touchdown.

Front Flags=Ball Grabs were up by a touchdown with the ball and a chance to score at the end of the first half when Eli Elite’s Mike Mule came out of nowhere with a huge interception. Front Flags led at the half 16-6.

In the second half, Front Flags started pulling away. Jessie Steele was a beast with his footwork, catching 8 passes and 2 touchdowns. Eli Elites tried their best to stick around as Jake Krantz added another touchdown to his stats and quarterback Mike Mule completed 12 of 20 passes. However, Front Flags=Ball Grabs were just unstoppable on offense with Jason Gragnano scoring a TD. Their quarterback Brett Pariser wracked up 5 touchdowns and completed 19 of 29 passes in the 35-14 win. Now that’s how you bounce back!!
