Yet Another nail biter! Just the way we like it! This contest was a foul fest! A total combined "33" fouls!!! yes, "33"!!! It was like a Pittsburgh Steelers/Baltimore Ravens slug fest!
Coming out on top & advancing in the playoffs was Charlie Wang Express! Leading the way was Jeremy C. with 17 points, 9 of them coming from down town! Jeremy was a hawk on defense & came away with 4 steals in the game(led to 6 fast break points for the team). Not far behind was Bill D. with 14 points, 3 assists, 1 steal & 1 rebound. Big man Ean C. made his presence felt with 12 points & led the team with 6 boards! For a big guy, he has a nice touch in his shot(uses the bank shot often).
Prob Hungover gave it all they had, but they fell just short. Oliver K had a solid all-around game with 16 points, 3 assists & 4 boards. Big man Ben C was a beast on the glass recording 10 rebounds! Jason S. was solid as well with 12 points, 2 assists, 3 steals & 3 boards!
Prob Hungover actually player a better 2nd half than Charlie Wang, but the damage was done due to the 8 point lead at halftime by Wang Express!

Another close one! Mr. Wiggins came to play in this one & dominated from beginning to end! He was the star for the Wolfpack, leading the way with 15 points, 2 assists, 2 steals & 8 boards! He was perfect from the line draining all 9 of his free throws!!! Team Captain A. Brown was solid in his 3 point efforts nailing all 3 he attempted(9 points). After a strong showing last week, Jeff. P was quiet tonight, scoring only 2 points.
The Warriors were led by Eric G. was solid on offense & defense. 10 points & a team high 4 steals! Tom B. isnt the biggest guy on the court, but he makes his presence felt underneath, grabbing a game high 14 rebounds! Insane! What hurt the Warriors the most were turnovers(7) & foul trouble. The team committed 18 fouls(Jorhan Sanks fouled out with 5). And even bigger problem was that they were fouling the 1 guy who had the hot hand & Mr. Wiggins made them pay!
The Wolfpack are a strong & very balanced team. They finished 1st in their division & won this game like they should have) I can't wait to see who they face next Sunday!

The Alligators came out strong in this one leading by 7 after the first couple of minutes.(9-2) A quick couple of baskets by a few different players & the Good Fellas found themselves in a position they have hardly ever been in, "trailing". It was short lived!
The Alligators called a TO with 12:11 left to go in the 1st half. Usually after a TO, the team that called it comes back strong(at least, that is the hope!). All the timeout did was put a fire under the butt of the Goodfellas. Goodfellas racked up 31 1st half points & held the Alligators to only "2" more points the entire half! That is team defense! Speaking of defense, Tymel Jackson had the biggest block of the night where he literally got his palm on the ball slamming it to the gym wall! You had to be there!
Leading the way for the Goodfellas was Tymel Jackson with 15 points(all coming from downtown). He also added 1 assist, 2 steals, 5 boards & a monster rejection! Following Tymel was point guard Kevin John who added 12 points & a game high 6 assists! All players on the Goodfellas contributed at least 2 points to their 58 total.
Bill L. gave all he had for the Alligators penetrating fearlessly & put up 20 points. Unfortunately, 7 of those points came in the 2nd half when a comeback was just simply out of reach. Team Captain Mike L. usually has success penetrating/driving but the sound defense of the Good Fellas made it difficult(Mike finished with 4 points).
Watch out for the Good Fellas!
