Both teams close out the season at 3-5

JERSEY CITY, NJ -- It was the last game of the season for both Wolfpack and Probably Hungover as neither team qualified for the playoffs, but you wouldn’t be able to tell by the way Wolfpack played. Wolfpack had a lot of energy out the gate and went on a 9-0 run to start the game.

Probably Hungover’s offensive weapon Oliver Kaljuvee, started 0-5 and 3 of those shots from beyond the arc. Wolfpack’s defense played a huge role in Probably Hungover’s early struggles, forcing them to take a timeout. After that timeout the game picked up for Probably Hungover and they ended up taking a 2-point lead. Rest of the half consisted of multiple lead changes and the game was all tied up at 24 going into halftime. Tait Pirkle led Wolfpack with 8 points, while Probably Hungover’s Oliver Kaljuvee and Rich Nolin also had 8 a-piece.

Wolfpack regained their momentum in the second half, going on a 14-2 run and it was all about them the rest of the game. Probably Hungover went ice cold and couldn’t hit anything. They definitely needed to regroup as they looked tired. Wolfpack’s passing of the ball and defense was flawless and their largest lead was 23. Probably Hungover never led this half as Wolfpack limited them to 17 points.

Wolfpack gets the win 63-41 to finish the season off 3-5. Oliver Kaljuvee finished with 13 points, 1 steal and 4 rebounds and Rich Nolin added 11 points. 3 assists, 3 steals 7 rebounds and 3 blocks.
