BERT WILLIS PARK, JERSEY SHORE -- Crisp air. Changing leaves. Clean slate. Fall ball. The Jersey Shore division started back up Tuesday night with a lot of familiar faces and a few new ones. 

In the first game, the Hot Behinds, behind the power of Dave C and his first home run of the season, blanked the Aaskickers 10-0. 

Over on field 2, Your Mas Your Da (Langosta Lounge) ran into a buzz saw in the form of Bond St second baseman Irene. She made 3 incredible plays to preserve the slim lead. And with the help of a 4-4 night for Charlie, Bond St squeaked out a 3-2 win. 

Misfits were featured in the third game. They took on the new look Clown Punchers. Tommy, Riyann and JT each had 3 hits and the Misfits cruised to a 17-6 win. 

In the nightcap, Defending champs Bada Bing picked right up where they left off. Player of the week, Joe Lombardi went the distance for the shut out and had a 3-3 night at the plate including his first bomb of the season. Bing shut out the Backyard Brew crew 13-0. 

It looks like it’s going to be a competitive fall season at Bert Willis. Good luck to all teams.
