14-13 barnburner!

Hoboken, NJ – It was an equally important game to win for both Past Our Prime and Walk It Like I Talk It, as playoffs are right around the corner and both teams had identical records heading into the game. This one would be decided on who wanted to win more, and Walk It Like I Talk It got off to a fast offensive start.

Past Our Prime fell asleep on the first play while on defense and seemed to be playing catch up through the rest of the half. Their quarterback TJ Baxter completed 6 of 10 passes and Walk It Like I Talk It's quarterback Qamar Sheikh completed 9 of 11 passes in the first half, including a touchdown caught by newcomer Chris Hoover for the 7-0 lead.

But Past Our Prime woke up in the second half and tied the game. Both teams were now playing well, but a big play by Qamar to Manny Khalifa gave WILITI the lead. Past Our Prime then responded with a big play of their own with a touchdown by Curtiss Logan. As they were looking to tie the game, Chris Hoover comes out of nowhere and intercepts the play, leaving Past Our Prime without any lifelines. Walk It Like I Talk It's aggressiveness helped them snatch away the much-needed win 14-13.
