TJ Baxter has stellar game, throws for 6 TD's

HOBOKEN, NJ -- Past Our Prime showed no signs of slowing down as they faced Team X-Bladz on opening night of the ABL Summer Flag Season.

From the start, they had control of the game and ended it in a blowout mercy call victory.

Past Our Prime’s quarterback TJ Baxter completed a high percentage of passes (14 of 17 with 6 TD's) and almost every player touched the ball. In comparison, Team X-Bladz’ quarterback, Jason DeJean struggled (10 of 19, 0 TD's) due to the opposing defense and went into the second half scoreless.

The only positive for the XBladz came in the form of Mike Weiss, who had a sack, and Jon Himottu, who had an interception to finish the half.

Past Our Prime had 4 touchdowns in the half, 3 from Jimmy Principe and 1 from Isaiah Diaz. Add a sack from Peter Lariani and an interception from Phil Conte and it’s easy to see why they were up 26-0.

Past Out Prime continued to dominate as a team in the second half and they had all the momentum. Team X-Bladz was struggling on offense and defense, and showed no signs of catching up. Past Our Prime scored another 2 touchdowns in the second half from Jimmy Principe and Curtiss Logan, Peter Lariani had another sac and the game was a blowout. Past Our Prime won the game 38-0 and proved that they are certainly in their prime. Watch out for TJ Baxter’s arm!!!
