HOBOKEN, NJ -- The rookie softball squad Sit on my Base fell to 0-3 Sunday Night, losing by a score of 6 to 1 to the veteran Hoboken Softball Club. 

Newcomer Jenna was a nice new addition to Sit on my Base, going 2 for 3 with 2 singles & a RBI.  The team was so pumped to score their 1st of the season, its always good to see teams having fun (win or lose).

Hoboken Softball Club played well.  Pitcher Julia was nasty, striking out 2, only letting up 1 run on 9 hits (none of which were extra base hits!).  Very impressive showing by the hurley!  Matt & Baraka tied the team for the lead in RBIs with 2 each. 

The team was patient at the plate & Billy Bean would be pleased as they "took their bases" with 8 walks!  Solid!
