MAMA JOHNSON FIELD, HOBOKEN, NJ --  It was the first win for Newell Bombers and the first loss for Jet.com. These two rookies squared off for the first time last week at beautiful Mama Johnson Field.

Jet got off to a quick start, scoring 3 runs in the first inning including 1 homerun, but the Newell Bombers just needed to warm up. They stepped up to the plate and plated 4 runs in the 2nd inning, including an HR.

It was pretty much back and forth after that, but Jet.com slowed down and went scoreless in the crucial 6th and 7th innings. Nonetheless, the game had an air of friendly competition and banter while the Newell Bombers sealed their first win.

Chad Davis and Michael Sinatra each launched HR's for the Bombers. Evan Dimeglio bashed an HR for Jet.com and receives extra credit for pitching and getting 7 strikeouts, WOW!
