A 'Muy Bueno' Day for Arsenal

Arsenal won the Joe Carter Division Championship just 5-6 months ago & it looks like they are ready to repeat!  Granted, we are only 2 games in but its still refreshing to see a team keep their foot on the pedal!

They won both games vs Muy Buenos on Sunday in one of the windiest opening days in April in a long time!!!

Game 1, Arsenal had their offense on point, scoring 11 runs in the 2nd & 7 in the 4th inning.  25 Runs total!  Sean had a deep 3 Run Bomb in the top of the 6th that sealed the victory.  Jared added 2 Home runs, tying Sean with a game high 6 RBIs.  Mimimum, each player in the line up had "2" hits!  A new lead off man for Arsenal this time around, D.J. had a solid debut 5 for 6 with 5 RBI's (3 singles, 2 doubles).  Not bad huh?
Eric Mills added 4 K's on the mound!

The Muy Buenos struggled to get anything consistent going on offense in game 1. Although Gilson deserved an honorable mention adding a team high 5 RBIs.

Final Score Game 1:
Arsenal - 25
Muy Buenos - 11

Game 2 was a much closer bout.  The game ended with a play at the plate with Sean gunning the ball to catcher Tom, who applied the last second tag on the Muy Buenos runner to keep the game from going into the 7th inning.

But the play of the game goes to the Center Fielder from Muy Buenos, Mr. Lutz, who robbed Joey Feinstein of what would have been an extra base hit (probably a homer!) with an incredible diving catch. Myself & umpire Ray agreed it was a SportsCenter Top 10 play!

Final Score for Game 2:
Arsenal 10
Muy Buenos 9
