JERSEY CITY, NJ -- The Goodfellas, a team well known throughout the ABL hoops universe, improved their record to 3-0 after defeating Team EZ on Sunday Night at the Golden Doors Gym. 

Everyone on EZ contributed, with each player having at least 2 points, and Dave Stevens led the way with 12.  Ryan R. & David S. added a Three Pointer each.  Chris L. led the team with 8 boards. 

Goodfellas just had a touch too much talent for them to handle.

Two players had double digit points (Tymel with 12 & Tony with 11).  Speaking of Tymel, as often with the Good Fellas, the Kevin & Tymel show was on full display.  Point Guard Kevin J. was penetrating the hoop often looking for Tymel J for easy baskets.  Kevin J. brought 8 points along with his team leading 8 assists.  Tony had a solid game with 11 points & 4 boards.  Newcomer Gene Tolliver scored 8 points off the bench (2 three pointers).

Goodfellas might be the toughest team in the league.  Granted it is early, but my guess is this team is heading for the playoffs as usual.  Someone has to figure out how to stop their transition offense. Who will it be?
