Improve Record to 3-0

Jersey City, NJ - Last Tuesday night at the Golden Doors Gym, undefeated Ball Don’t Lie and the winless Thundercats started the game very strong defensively, resulting in a string of turnovers, but they each struggled shooting the ball in the first half.

Nearly nine minutes in, the Thundercats scored their first basket, but luckily for them, Ball Don’t Lie couldn’t take advantage and only led by 5 going into the half 18-13. Dylan Brossman led all scorers with 8 points.

A big turnaround in the second half catapulted Ball Don’t Lie, as they hit the shots that weren’t falling earlier in the game and stretched their lead. They led by as many as 17. The Thundercats momentum faltered and although they fought hard, the team couldn’t find themselves offensively. Ball Don’t Lie won the game 46-29.

Thundercats Thomas Bestros finished with 5 points, 1 assist, 5 steals and 8 rebounds and Jorhan Sanks fouled out but contributed 7 points, 10 rebounds and 3 blocks.

Ball Don’t Lie's Dylan Brossman led all scorers with 19 points, 2 steals and 3 rebounds. Alongside him were two teammates with double-doubles; Victor Rosario had 11 points and 14 rebounds and Simon Smith had 13 points and 17 rebounds.
