CLIFTON, NJ -- Arsenal was heading into this game as underdogs against the North Bergen Dawgs.  After Game 1, it seemed like whoever bet the favorite was going to come away with some cash! 

Game 1 went back & fourth!  Arsenal looked impressive early scoring 10 runs through 3 innings.  However, as usual the North Bergen Dawgs found their magic starting in the bottom of the 3rd scoring 6, then 3 in the fourth to cut the lead to 1. The Dawgs then exploded in the bottom of the 6th with 9 runs nearly batting around their 12 man batting order.

Game 1 Final:
NB Dawgs - 18
Arsenal - 16

Game 2 was simple.  NB Dawgs fell asleep, Arsenal woke up!  This one was over in 4.  NB Dawgs scored a rare 2 runs in the 1st inning (which isn't their MO).  Arsenal responded by rocking 16 runs through the 1st 3 innings.  Clearly upset at themselves for blowing a 10 run lead in Game 1, they weren't going to let this one get away!  9 of their 10 batters scored at least 1 run in Game 2.  Sean & Abel added Home Runs to cruise to a a easy victory!

Game 2 Final:
Arsenal - 16
NB Dawgs - 3

Game 3 was the dagger!  The NB Dawgs were down, but not out!  The beast was napping when he suddenly was awoken in the bottom of the 2nd.  8 runs came across the board & it looked like the NB Dawgs were headed to the next round of the playoffs!  Arsenal responded!  4 players hit Home Runs in the Arsenal "Run" including Sean, Abel, Andrew & Jared!  Tom Romano found his pitching groove shutting out the Dawgs in the 4th & 5th innings.  The Team Captain for the Dawgs was red hot & clearly ready to kick the garbage can (in fact he later did just that!).  Arsenal deserved to win this one:
