NOVEMBER 7 -- SHARK RIVER, NJ -- With their double header sweep last week, Bada Bing has capped off a perfect regular season and earned to automatic bid into the Championship Game.

But if anyone knows how difficult it is to win the last game of the season, its the Misfits, who defeated the Hot Behinds 18-9 last week to secure the #2 seed. The Misfits have been on both sides of the perfect season. Completing it and having it ripped away at the bitter end.

Bada Bing's 15-8 victory over the Misfits was their second in as many weeks. Bada Bings big bats are starting to boil.

The crew put up 27 runs in the two games last week. Vic was 6-7 and Andrew was 7-8 over the double dip.

With Kat on the prowl in center and Joe on the hill, the defense is playing well too. First baseman Brett keeps the mood light on the bench and focused in the field. Everything is firing on all cylinders in Bada Bing land. Title or bust.

In tonight's single-elimination playoffs, the two teams that will match up first for the right to play spoiler know each other very well. The Misfits took both very competitive games this season over the Hot Behinds. But with heavy rain in the forecast, we may have to wait a week to find out who comes out on top.

Misfits sluggers Chris and Eric each went 7-9 over the two head to head matchups. However the real question on everybody's mind is; Will the Misfits depend on the veteran leadership of pitcher Eisenberg, who earned the W last week and was equally as impressive at the plate going 3-4, scoring and driving in a pair.

Vin (.786) and Tom (.714) are the straws that stir the drink for the Hot Behinds. A solid defensive team, they play every game close, we're just waiting for it all to click and watch this team go on a run.
