The Hot Behinds Spilt Doubleheader

On a picture perfect evening at Bert Willis Field, the 2017 fall season kicked off with a pair of games featuring some familiar faces in new places.

The first matchup was the Hot Behinds and the Backyard Brew Crew. The Brew Crew had multi hit games from Matt, Kevin, Jason and Craig. They were able to keep this one competitive for most of the evening until The Hot Behind's Austin (2-3, 2R, 2RBI) launched a monster shot over the left field fence to bust it open.

The BBC had no answers for Player of the Game Vin (4-4, 2R, 3RBI, IPHR) who got on base every time up and played a solid shortstop. Fluffy got the win allowing only 5 runs thru 7.

The HB's wouldn't have long to celebrate the victory however; Bada Bing was waiting for their crack.

After a promising first season in the league that fell just short of their goals, Bada Bing looks poised to take that next step and compete for the title.

The Hot Behind bats went quiet in game 2, only scraping together 3 runs.

Bada Bing got multi hit games from Joe, Bri, Andrew, Vic (3-3, 2R, 3RBI) and Player for the Game, Kat who was a perfect 4-4 at the plate scoring 3 times.

Joe (7IP, 3ER) pumped strikes all night and let his defense make the plays they needed to. Bada Bing sits alone in first place and will try to make it two in a row next week when they take on the Hot Behinds again.
