The day has finally arrived, as the road to the championship begins tonight in Hoboken!  That's right. It's time for some playoff softball. Throw the records away, as the playing field is level again. Every team has a chance, but who will seize the opportunity?

     We have some excellent matchups right off the bat. In the Wade Boggs Division, 3 seed Hoboken Softball Club takes on 2nd seeded Pier 13 Pirates, with both teams tying in the win/loss columns and needing to be separated by tiebreakers. The winner will take on Slingers in the championship round on Monday.

     In the Fernando Valenzuela Division, titans will clash. Top seeded and defending champs Louise & Jerry's just edged out the 2 seed Mills Tavern via tiebreakers and will take on Hudson River CrossFit Ballbusters, who are coming off of a down season. However, this team has the veteran presence to make another title run and should not be overlooked. Mills Tavern will take on the perennial championship contenders 10th & Willow, who finished as the 3 seed and just one game back of the leaders.

     One thing is for sure, we are in for an exciting finish to the summer season.  Congratulations to all of our playoff teams and good luck as you battle for the crown!
