JERSEY CITY, NJ -- The Good Fellas are now in sole possession of 1st place in the Michael Jordan Division. They took care of business against the Monstars by dropping 67 points, more importantly, holding the Monstars to "36" total points.
Point guard Kevin Johnson led the way with 16 points, adding 5 assists, 3 steals & 2 boards. Not far behind were Tymel Jackson (15 points) & Anthony Green with 14 points. Tymel actually dropped a double/double with 15 points & 10 rebounds! One thing i have noticed about the Good Fellas is that they get to the foul line often with the amount of times they penetrate to the hoop! Smart basketball!
The Monstars (1-6) were simply overmatched, but definitely kept playing until the final buzzer. Team Captain Eli N. probably had the best all around game with 7 points, 2 assists, 1 steal & 6 boards. Not far behind was James V.(the big man) with 8 points, 1 steal & a team high 8 rebounds.
