GARFIELD, NJ -- Tainos kept their Playoff hope alive by routing The Warriors in two games they definitely should have won as it were.  Tainos simply had too much hitting power for The Warriors. 

Tainos (8-4) managed to score a combined 55 runs in 2 games cruising their way to victories of 32-19 & 23 to 11 (both convincing double digit wins!).  Lou (Pops) the pitcher for Tainos recorded 2 more wins to increase his win total to "8" on the year.  The Tainos hitting power was on full display to the fans in Garfield, led by Jamie W., Luigi N. & Louis N. in Game 1 - all combined for 17 RBI's. 

Game 2 was not much different w/ all 12 batters in the line up recording at least 1 hit each.  Kudos to Jose & Jamie for batting 1.000 in Game 2 as well!

The Warriors gave it all they had & definitely had some bright spots.  Danny Franco rocked a Home Run in each game of the Double Header (check out his slugging %tage!)  Joe Messiano went for 4 for 4 in Game 1.  Danny Melian the Armenian Train was solid in Game 2 going 3 for 3 with 4 RBI's!

After a while, all the players were itching to get out of there!  After all, fantasy football lineups need to be set, right?
