Motown withstands an early scare to seal their game one victory.

In the matchup between Straight Ca$h Homie vs. Motown, Straight Ca$h Homie's very first play from scrimmage made it seem as if Motown would have big trouble. Straight Ca$h Homie QB Dion Nesmith connected on a bomb to his top WR Jesse Steele. Nesmith's live arm and Steele's athletic ability spelled trouble for Motown. Not to be outdone Motown came right back to match their opponent. Motown QB Steve Kearns came out on fire, going 5 for 5 with a TD on the first drive.  He connected with Sean Hannigan who would make big plays all game, for the score.

That was all she wrote as far as scoring for Straight Ca$h Homie. Motown applied relentless pressure all night, which led to Nesmith completing only 6 of his 13 pass attempts. 5 of those completions went to Jesse Steele, who seemed to be the only bright spot on Straight Ca$h Homie's offense. Steele also snagged an interception on defense. With more depth, Straight Cash should be able to do better on both sides. Motown simply came more prepared and it showed.
