HOBOKEN, NJ -- After a long, tough season, it boils down to Team Jacks taking on Off In The Woods for the Division Championship. 

Team Jacks and their high-octane offense came out swinging, putting up 5 runs in the first inning with the help of a lead-off homerun from Mario Guarriello and a 3 run homer from their pitcher Ace. 

Spence Toth responded with a 2 run homer of his own to put Off In The Woods on the board. Over the next 4 innings both teams cooled off, putting up only 3 runs combined. Going into the 7th inning we had a 8-3 game in favor of Team Jacks. In the 7th inning, Eric Olsen knocked in one run for Off In The Woods, but Mike Hodges responded for Team Jacks with a solo homer.

Off In The Woods was able to knock 2 more runs in with a little small ball in the last 2 innings, but was countered with Team Jacks 3 runs in the 8th, which included another HR from their pitcher Ace, making the final score 12-6 for Team Jacks - they are champions!

Both teams played hard, but our vote for MVP goes to Team Jacks Pitcher, Ace. He went 3-4 with 2 HR smashes, 1 triple and 4 RBI's. A tip of the hat to Ace and Team Jacks. The only question that remains - will they move up to the competitive division next season? We'll find out in September.....stay tuned!
