The Alligators come in as the heavy favorites to win the championship, finishing the season with an impressive 8-0 record.  Dale’s Revenge will get the first crack at this Goliath as they are the number 4 seed. 

However, until last weekend, we weren’t sure who that seed would be.  Dale’s Revenge and the Wolfpack were neck and neck with the playoffs on the line.  Dale’s Revenge would close strong with a huge win over the playoff-bound Bulldogs.  The win left them in a tie with Wolfpack, who they beat earlier in the season to earn the tie-breaker. 

The Bulldogs had their 4 game win-streak snapped by the more desperate Dale’s Revenge.  No one wants to come into the playoffs on a low, but this team has proven that they can hang with the best.  If they come out like a team possessed, the 'Dogs may be headed for a rematch with top seed Alligators, who they lost to by just two points in the regular season. 

The final team in the playoffs this season is 2 seed W & J’s.  W & J’s rides a 3 game win-streak heading into the playoffs, including an incredible short-handed victory in the final week that allowed them to pass Bulldogs in the standings.  The showdown between W & J’s and Bulldogs will be the first of the season, as their only previous matchup was a forfeit.  What does this all mean?  We should be in for a fun ride this postseason.  We can look forward to some great matchups as we wait to see who will rise up as champions.
