SECAUCUS, October 27 - Roughly one year ago a young team took the ABL Fall softball league by storm. D'Anna Electric rampaged through the ranks and dominated every foe in their path, and they are continuing that trend a year later.
After dispatching a surging Arsenal squad in two games in the semi-finals D'Anna Electric now stands at 17-1 and are poised to take home their second ABL championship in two years.
D'Anna Electric can credit their success to many factors. First and foremost their offense is potent and their lineup is extremely deep.
Eight players on their roster register with twenty plus RBI and their defense is absolutely top notch. Factor in their speed on the bases and you have a recipe for success.
D'Anna Electric will play the winner of the Boggsmen vs Minotaur on November 8th. The Boggsmen's roster litters the stat leader pages and they display many of the same qualities that the defending champs exhibit. Speed, power and great defense, but the Minotaur team has experience and consistently competes with the big dogs year after year.
Considering D'Anna Electric is already defending their Fall title in yet another championship, and has put together another amazing season you would have to think whether it be Minotaur or the Boggsmen that D'Anna is the odds on favorite to take home that title once again. Stranger things have happened though.
