LINDEN, August 26 - It was bound to happen. The A-Team and Hi-Haterz would eventually meet up in an all out brawl for the Warinanco Co-Ed Championship title. 

Both teams dominated the league through the regular season as they punished any team that dared get in their path. Garwood Rest was also a candidate to make it to the big game, but they were dispatched by the A-Team on August 12th to the tune of 23-18. The same day Hi Haterz layed rest to the Nugents with a score of 5-1. 

It all came down to a final game for all the marbles on August 26th. The A-Team and Hi Haterz seemed to be having a defensive battle of wits and flashing leather, but the A-Team got tired of the lack of fireworks and lit the wick in the 4th inning. After that it was bombs bursting in air as the runs started to sizzle across the plate. 

It all started with a harmless single from A-Teamer Jude Bracken, followed by another single by Cheeka, and then Dave Rivero gently placed a cherry atop the scoring sundae with a triple driving in two runs. 

The Haterz would answer back in the 5th with a run, but that would be the end of their scoring in this championship game. Once the floodgates opened the A-Team just continued to pour on runs till the game ended with a score of 14-1. 

Congratulation to the A-Team for bringing home a championship, and to the Haterz for making it to the big game. Both teams had absolutely excellent seasons.
