ROSELLE, June 24 -  Al's Pub Degenerates and UCBA put on quite a show in Warinanco Park Tuesday night. Both teams attempted to out-slug each other in the contest but there can only be one winner in a softball game. 

UCBA took a four run lead in the top of the first inning and seemed to be in a groove from the get-go. They went on to score another run in the second and tacked on two more in the top of the third, but the Degenerates had had enough of that business. 

In the bottom of the third inning the Degenerates started their glorious rise from the depths of defeat. Lead-off man Brian Ruiz got on base with a well placed single and was immediately driven in by Brandee Brown with an RBI double, but the star of the night was number 69 Charlie Bianco who pummelled a ball for a 2 RBI homerun. 

The lineup would continue to thrive in the inning as five runs crossed the plate to tighten up the game at 7-6 in favor of UCBA. 

Charlie wasn't done though. He went on to homer again...and again in the latter innings for a sterling stat line of 4 for 5 with a single, 3 homeruns, 3 runs and a whopping 8 RBI. Someone buy that guy a drink! 

The onlsaught provided by Charlie in the late surge and the nice on base percentage of his table setters Brian Ruiz and Brandee Brown made for a fantastic come from behind victory for Al's Pub Degenerates, who swiped the game from UCBA to the tune of 17-13.

UCBA's Mike McCray also had a great game for his team going 4 for 5 with a single, 2 doubles, a triple, 2 runs and 4 RBI. 

UCBA has an off week next Tuesday while Al's will face off against the very dangerous Hi Haterz.
