Louise & Jerry’s continues dominant season

Monday, June 10, 2014—With 6 games in the books, Louise & Jerry’s is looking to acheive perfection by going 8 and 0 this season.  Manager/pitcher Anthony Romano aka “Cap” has an eye for talent, putting together a star studded roster.  During the team’s winning streak, L & J's hasn’t had an opponent score more than 5 runs in a game; meanwhile their bats have been scorching hot at the plate, scoring in the double digits.  Louise & Jerry’s has set the bar with their gameplay for the competitive division this season as the team to beat.

L & J's success lies within the core group of Chris Lyons, Erika Lesher, Angel Romano, Jude Bracken, and Kristine Cheeka.  Time and time again they have proven themselves to be the best of the best offensively and defensively.  In addition to the deadly hit squad, Jamie Cheeka and Anthony Muccioli have been turning heads with their off the chart field performances.

Shortstop Anthony Muccioli has been playing out of his mind, making teams think twice before hitting the ball his way.  There was one particular play that had the opposing team tipping their caps and had the crowd in attendance speechless.  The ball was hit hard in the gap between 3rd and short and out of nowhere Anthony grabbed the ball in shallow left, leaped off his back foot, and throwing out the runner out at 1st base.

Jamie Cheeka looks to be following the base paths of her older sister KristineJaime is 5 for 9 in her three games played where she had a huge 2 run single to right raising her batting average to .556 with 3 RBI total.

ABL is throwing them McSwiggans Pub in the 2 remaining games of their schedule.  It’s going to be hard to achieve their goal facing an elite team in the league, but Louise & Jerry’s is ready to step up to the plate for any challenge.
