Lorena Ruiz’s 3 RBIs were game quencher

SUNDAY, April 27, 2014— The Big League Brews had an intoxicating performance, overcoming a 5 run deficit to beat Farkle 10 to 8 at JFK Stadium, in Hoboken, NJ.  Farkle was looking to announce "last call" an inning too early, because the Brews ordered up 6 runs in the bottom of the 6th inning to satisfy their thirst.

Farkle was short a player in the field and  Mark Meehan  was making sure the players on the Brews were running straight and narrow on the base paths.   Mark played both third base and shortstop on the field.  He did a remarkable job recording 14 out of the 18 outs in 6 innings of play.

The Big League Brews didn’t let Farkle ruin their good time.  Kelly Dubin and Matt Monkhouse of the Brews wanted to keep the party going.  Kelly had a great offensive day going 2 for 3 with a double, 1 run and 1 RBI.  Matt already hit one home run on the day and was looking to order his second but Farkle Mark Young cut him off.

The game was starting to kick, until Big League Brew Lorena Ruiz showed up.  She brought the life back into the game with her 2 run single in the bottom of the 6th inning to give her team a reason to celebrate.

This round is on Farkle, and the Big League Brews will drink to that.  CHEERS!!
