Hoboken, NJ – It’s been a rough season for Highlighters and All Business, with the two teams set to face off. Good news is that one team would get their first win of the season. All Business was true to their name to start this game. Their offense was nearly flawless, proving so with two easy touchdown throws from quarterback Sam Palidino into the hands of Clayton Sorato and Mike Paggs. Mike would also add a second TD to his first half statline later. Their defense wasn't outshined by their offense either in the first half, not allowing Highlighters to get anything going. Highlighters struggled on both ends of the field, primarily sue to a lack of communication most plays. Quarterback PJ Augusto just couldn’t gain any momentum. Sam Palidino, on the other hand, recorded 3 first half TD’s and completed 8 of his 16 pass attempts. All Business had their way and took a 19-0 lead into the half.

The second half was a complete turnaround for the Highlighters. They came out strong and played much better. They made a change behind center and it worked in their favor. Alex Lopez took the role and immediately impacted the game, throwing two touchdowns with John Reyes and Gabe Serralta on the receiving ends. The defense stepped up as well, with improved communication, and it was down to a 1 possession game at 19-14. All Business was slacking for a while, maybe having gotten a bit too comfortable, and folding under the pressure of Highlighters defense. However, they would wake up with a jolt from quarterback Sam Palidino, throwing two deep passes into the clutch hands of Clayton Sorato. One reception went for a score, and the second resulted in a Jake Higgins touchdown. Highlighters were able to score again and snag an interception, but it wouldn't be enough. All Business sealed the deal with a final TD from Palidino to Paggs with 3 minutes left. All Business took care of business when it mattered most and earned their first victory of the season by a score of 39-20.
