Balls in "Deep Doo Doo", Expos Take 2!

Remember those days when you uttered these words in High School: "Mom, I don't feel well. I think I'm sick."  Mom would then late you stay home, sleep, play Super NES, watch "The Price is Right", drink Gatorade, rock some Lipton Chicken Soup, & all you may have missed was a Geometry quiz?  Well, when players miss games for their team, you can't get those games back.  A loss is a loss (or in this case, 2 losses).  Balls Deep was missing their lead off man, clean up hitter, & had to play with just 3 Outfielders.  Translation 17 - 5 & 15 -2 mercy rules!

Game 1 was pretty quiet through 3 innings. That is, until NJ Expos exploded for 9 runs in the bottom of the 4th.  Jake smoked a Grand Salami into deep right & led the team with those 4 RBI's.  Credit Johnny also with a 2-run dong in the first inning.  Speaking of Johnny, he coasted through this one, going 3 for 3 at the plate with 3 RBI's & 2 runs scored.  NJ Expos did need more from their power hitter Rey though, who went a hitless 0 for 3.  Ty & Will each added an RBI for Balls Deep, but it got ugly from there.  Balls Deep had 6 hits, only 2 of which were of the extra base variety.  Not gonna cut it!

NJ Expos picked up right where they left off in game 2, scoring 10 runs through the first two innings.  Every player (except Steve) had at least 1 run scored for NJ Expos.  Jake, Johnny, & Rey scored 3 times each.  Shockingly, no lines drives were hit in the direction of Mr. Guzman (I guess I need to show up more often?).  Some balls did explode off the bats of Balls Deep, but they were cracked directly toward the opposing outfielders.  What can ya do?  Balls Deep needs to figure out who is in & who is out on their squad!  Ty has some work to do!  Good luck all!
