What a 3 Game Series!!!  Thomas Allen Vineyards & NB Dawgs went blow for blow(especially in Game 1).  There were 4 lead changes through the first 2 innings!  A combined 27 runs scored in the first 2 innings!!  It almost felt like whoever was the Home Team would take Game 1 due to being up at the plate in the bottom of inning 7.  It turns out, TA Vineyards didn't need the bottom of the 7th.  NB Dawgs had a 11 to 4 lead heading into the bottom of the 2nd when TS Vineyards exploded for 12 runs!  Go figured, none of the runs scored were from a Home Run, just extra base hits, line drives dropping in holes in the outfield!  Leading the squad in RBIs was Mike M. with 4!  Lead off man Jim & Team Captain Calvin each scored 4 runs, going a combined 8 for 10 with 6 RBI's!  North Bergen Dawns definitely kept it close.  Louie Smoked a Grand Salame followed up by a solo Homer by James in the 2nd inning.  NB Dawgs scored 4 in the 6th which got them within 2 runs, but flamed out in the top of the 7th going "Out, Out, Single, "Out" to end it! 

Game 1 Final:
TA Vineyards - 23
NB Dawgs - 21

NB Dawgs came back with a vengeance grinding out a Game 2 victory with a final of 11-10!  You could clearly see the heat(92degrees) was baring down on both teams, no shade anywhere to found!  Again, in Game 1, both teams combined for 44 runs!  This one ended in less than 1/2 that at 21 total runs scored.  A Keg of Gatorade wouldn't even do the trick!  NB Dawgs took their pitches in this one as TA Vineyard Hurler Kevin had difficulty finding the strike zone.  This resulted in 5 walks for the Dawgs(3 of which scored runs!)  Team Captain Calvin & AJ rocked Homers for Vineyard to bring them close.  Bottom of the 7th came, Vineyards up a run 10 - 9.   Jeff walks, Skizz singles, Vulture singles, Jeff scores(tied up).  Team Captain & Vocalist Mena was hitless his first 4 at bats.  He comes up big on the first pitch, WHAMMM, RBI single!  Game over! 

Game 2 Final:

TA Vineyards - 10

TA Vineyards youth definitely played a roll in their Game 3 victory.  They had energy, stamina, & clearly wanted this game!  They scored 11 through 3 innings.  Nick came alive in the 3 spot by going 2 for 4 with 2 Homers & 5 RBI's!  AJ added 2 Homers with 5 RBIs as well!  NB Dawgs Team Captain Mena reverted back his old self in Game 3.  The tension was, arguments between teammates were flowing in the dug out!  You knew it coming, it was only a matter of time.  We love Mena, but his intentions are solid, but can be seen by teammates as "demotivating/dividing".  Until NB Dawgs figure this out, they might struggle moving forward!  Credit Mena on the mound as he outpitched Skizz across the board.  If the NB Dawgs need something to do during the 3 week off season, Netflix is currently looking to add a new Mini Series!  I think you guys are perfect!  Congrats Thomas Allen Vineyards, you earned it!
