Clean up batter Jared Fowler was nasty at the plate, going 3 for 3 with a team high 4 RBI's.  He's among the top Hits leaders in the league, with 40. Adding RBI's were Mikey, Andrew, Alex, Tom, Rual & Joelle. 

Mikey, Andrew & Alex each scored 2 runs apiece, leading the team.  Tom Romano pitched a shut out, allowing only 4 hits (only 1 extra base hit) & had 1 Strike out!  A solid game for the crafty veteran!

Arsenal continued their dominance in Game 2 versus the Soldiers of Fortune!  They won again in 4 innings by a score of 16-4.   

The Soldiers showed up & looked promising after scoring 2 in the 1st & 1 in the 2nd & 3rd innings.  Joe had a clutch 2 RBI single in the first to give Soldiers a 2-0 lead.  Alex led the team going 2 for 2 with a single & double!

Arsenal was a little too much for Soldiers, they went on a Home Run Derby in this one!  The following players homered: Andrew (twice!), Alex & Jared.  Those 3 players combined for 8 RBI's & 6 runs scored!  Joey Feinstein made a nice play at first scooping up a tough throw to get the runner at first!  Reminded me of Giambi!  

Arsenal (10-6), who had lost 6 of their last 8 games prior to this past week, is looking to make some noise in the playoffs! But let's see what happens to their momentum this week when they take on the dangerous Legion of Boom (8-8) on the final day of the regular season. Good luck to everyone!
