WEEHAWKEN, NJ -- McSwiggans Pub has done it again!  They've added another championship win to their already impressive resume. This one took an unbelievable amount of fortitude and determination, as they faced one of the best teams to ever play in the ABL Men's League, WAKA Cooper. 

It didn't look all that great for the Swigs after Waka Cooper dominated Game 1 24-12.  Sean & Vinny both had "Inside the Park" Homers.  Waka exploded for 9 & 10 runs in the 4th/5th inning.  McSwiggans was mired in a slump, getting shut out in 3 of the 6 total innings.

Game 2, the tables were starting to turn.  Monte was the new pitcher for McSwiggans.  He only allowed 5 runs in this one, which is a solid performance in Men Softball & consider Waka/Cooper are known for their bats!  McSwiggans Pub scored 10 runs, RBI's courtesy of Randy, Matt, Craig, Andy, Monte, Kelly, Darmento & Stevens.

Game 3 went back & forth like a classic final should for its viewers.  Waka led after the 1st inning, 4-3.  McSwiggans led after 2 innings, 5-4.  Tied up after 3.  Waka led 8-7 after 4.  Then, the 5th inning Gods gave McSwiggans some juice.  The team scored 7 runs, went through the entire batting order.  Everyone simply contributed!  Total team effort & McSwiggans Pub never looked back!
