CLIFFSIDE PARK, NJ -- It took the North Bergen Dawgs 4 innings to finally get their bats going, but when they did, it was a dominant performance. 

The Bad Hombres were up 8-0 through 3 full innings with the North Bergen Dawgs only having 4 hits during that frame!  Then, the sun came out & the Dawgs exploded for 7 runs in the top of the 4th, 2 in the 5th, 1 in the 6th & an insane 9 run 7th inning to take the lead by 2!  Home Runs came courtesy of Joe B, Jeff, Anthony, Steve & Jose!!!  Jose & Joe B. were tied for the lead on the team with 4 RBI's.

Bad Hombres didn't play a bad game, in fact, it was the opposite.  Again, they led 8-0 after 3.  Lead off man Jordan was 4 for 4 with 5 RBI's & 2 Homers!  Diego, Jake, Steve & Nick added Homers as well.  Normally when you score 17 runs in a game, you are on the winning side.  However, Bad Hombres headed into the 7th up by 7.  This one should have been over.

After the Bad Hombres (14-9) fell apart & lost a 7 run lead in Game 1, their confidence was clearly shot.  Between base running mistakes, swinging at bad pitches, & a rare strike out, Bad Hombres just crumbled.  They scored 5 runs in Game 2, while the North Bergen Dawgs had them right where they wanted them, reeling in 19 runs including a Walk Off 3 Run Bomb in the bottom of the 5th from Lou!  Lou led the tem with 6 RBI's & his game progressed as time went on!  A solid pitching game from "Skz" was also a big help, only letting up 11 hits, 5 runs & a K.

The North Bergen Dawgs (19-1) move on to the Championship Round and will face an impressive Young Bucs team (16-6) in a Best of 3 Series.
