Ducks Taking Their Lumps in the New and Improved Bert Willis League

BERT WILLIS PARK, NJ -- The Ducks leadoff hitter Jay singled and scored on Kevin's (2-2) first inning base hit Tuesday night. That's where the good news ended for the waterfowl.

Bond St bats exploded for 6 runs in the first and third innings. They would add a little insult to injury with another pair late.

Charlie (3-4, 2R, RBI) would once again set the tone at the top of the order for the big bats in the middle. Logan played an awesome outfield all night and chipped in with a 2-3, 2R, 3RBI night at the plate.

Dime Dave blasted an insider the park homer en route to a 2-4, 2R, 2RBI evening. Dave (3IP, 3H, 0ER, 0BB) also came in relief to earn his first career save. Fluffy Fluff (W,3IP, 1ER) started the game but is on a strict innings limit this season and with Bond St having their sights set on a deep playoff run, management decided to give him an early exit with the game firmly in hand.

Offensively though, the night belonged to Player of the Game Matt. He added an inside the parker of his own on his way to perfect night at the dish; 3-3, 3R, 5RBI.

The rest of the league should take notice, Bond St is not messing around anymore and they have one goal- hoist that trophy at the Awards Party in January.
