The Semi Final matchups Tuesday Night at Pine Park proved to be a couple of polar opposites. While we saw a barnburner in the late game, the twilight matchup had the Misfits meticulously dismantle The Cardinal Crushers. They put up 5 runs in the first, third, sixth and seventh.

Misfits out hit the Crushers 36-10.

Seven Misfit batters had at least three hits, including Kyle Hardie (5-5) and JT (6-6).

Guy Pollini of Cardinal threw strikes all game, walking 0. He also added a 2-3 night at the plate.

The Misfits were simply the best team on the field all season. They deserve the chance to defend their title.

With their ticket punched, the Misfits (7-0) will take on Make it a Double (6-1) in a championship rematch on Tuesday. Good luck to both teams!
