The Goodfellas are loud, they communicate, they are fast, they are the definition of transition basketball! In this past Sunday's win over the Indy Nomads, the fast break points seem to come relatively easy as their 8 steals in the game led to 16 points on the run.
Leading the way was Tony G. with 21 points with 5 boards. Tymel Jackson was solid as well with 14 points(3 from downtown), 2 assists, 2 steals & 9 boards. Kevin Johnson running the point led the team in assists with 6. He added 8 rebounds. Everyone on the squad contributed scoring at least 2 points!
The Nomads kept it close in the beginning, only down 11 after the 1st half. Rahmann Patton was a beast with 18 points & 10 boards, securing a double/double. Unfortunately, he had 4 fouls early so he had to very careful on defense in the 2nd half. Betros (known for his rebounding ability) had his normal 10 boards, with 7 points!
The Good Fellas look like they are primed to make a move in the division, with their sights set on another Finals appearance.
Final Score
