In the night cap Tuesday, the final score does not indicate how touchy this one was for the Misfits. Scoreless after 3 innings, the pressure started to mount on the Misfit sideline.

New leadoff hitter and human flash, Doug (4-4, 2R, 3RBI) earned Player of the Game honors. He led off the 4th with a base hit to right to get the Misfit party started, scoring easily when Tommy doubled to center. The Misfits struck for 4 in the 4th, 5th and 6th on 20 hits.

Other than Doug's 4, Chris had 3 hits. Carla, Tommy, Kyle, JT and Adrian each had two. Nobody on the team was hitless.

As for Langosta Lounge, this was their most impressive showing this season. They scored two in the 4th, 4 in the 5th and 1 in the 6th. James McNulty had a monster game going 4-4, scoring and driving in a pair. Brian and Kyle also chipped in with three hits a piece.

Langosta double play tandem of James and Bree played excellent defense up the middle all night also. Great Season Langosta, hope to see you back in a few weeks.

The Misfits are two wins away from winning back to back championship titles. Will they hoist the trophy or will Cardinal, Bond St or Make it a Double rain on their parade? Its going to be an exciting finish at the Jersey Shore.
