Balanced Effort lead to 20 hits, 11 runs

JERSEY SHORE, BERT WILLIS FIELD -- In the first game last Tuesday evening, the first five hitters of the night for Langosta Lounge all reached base safely starting with leadoff batter Bri Stragapede (4-5). LL would tally three quick runs.

The Cardinal Crushers would not be outdone. Their first 6 batters of the night got base hits to help them strike right back with 4 of their own in the bottom.

Sean Urie, Maggie Pakutka, Brandon Heim and Cheyenne Seonia all had multiple hit games for Cardinal.

For Langosta, the story was Seth Dolled (3-5, 2R, 3RBI) and Player of the Game James McNulty (4-5, 3R, RBI) who played an excellent shortstop all night and kept the Cardinal bats quiet enough for Langosta to get their first Win of the Season.

The Cardinal Crushers would hang around to play Porta in the second game of their double header. Langosta will hook up with Bond St tomorrow night in what should be an exciting game with early season playoff implications.
