Thundercats Show Power with the Long Ball

HOBOKEN, NJ -- It didn't take long for the Thundercats to get into mid-season form. Six runs in the bottom of the first sparked by the long home run off the bat of Kelly Loughney (3-4, 6 RBI) and the solid pitching of Darren Apostolik (7IP, 4ER) would be the winning combination for the 'Cats.

Despite the best efforts of Team Captain Stephanie Sparneza (2-3, R, RBI), her squad fell behind early and could not recover.

The Thundercats tacked on insurance runs in the 4th, 6th and 7th on another Loughney dinger and never looked back.

The Dave Parker Division is shaping up nicely early in this season and expect the Thundercats to be in the thick of the pennant race.
