Outlaws top the One Hit Wonders

On a picture perfect evening at Mama Johnson Field, the 2017 Spring Coed Season got underway. An early season matchup between the Pourhouse Outlaws and the One Hit Wonders will set the pace in what looks to be a highly competitive Dave Parker Division.

Drew Emery (3-4, 4R) led off the night for the Outlaws with a base hit and would later score the first run of the season on a Kelly Hommen RBI single. The One Hit Wonders answered right back in the second to tie the game. After 4, the Outlaws were clinging to a slim 2-1 lead when Chris Luciano (2-3, 2RBI) sparked a three run 5th when he hit a stinger in the gap and flew around the bases for an inside the park homer.

Brian Albano (3-3) hit a towering moon shot over the left-centerfield fence in the 6th to ice the win and the Outlaws cruised to a 8-2 victory to start their season off right.

The One Hit Wonders only managed 4 hits off Hommen and the stingy Outlaw Defense. Good Luck to both teams this season!
