BERT WILLIS FIELD, NEPTUNE CITY, NJ -- On a perfect night for softball, the crew from Make it a Double made short work of the Bond St GFY's. After a first inning triple by Gerard and an Inside the Park Homer from Dave, Bond St was up 2-0 early.

Make it a Double answered right back in the bottom, scoring 8 times. Player of the Game JoAnn Hickey was perfect at the plate going 4-4, driving in 3.

Three hits a piece from Dave Gurney, Sean Murphy, AnnMarie Osnato and Stephen McKnight also contributed to the 24 hit parade.

Winning Pitcher Christian Royston scattered 6 hits, allowing only 3 runs and picked up the W.

Make it a Double will take on the Misfits in the Fall Championship Game. The Misfits advanced earlier in the evening due to The Toast forfeit.

If their 8-7 matchup earlier in the season is any indicator, this one will be another classic. All eyes will be on Bert Willis Field this Tuesday night as we will crown our Fall Season Champion.

Will it be the speed of the high powered Misfits offense or the suffocating Make it a Double defense that will reign supreme? We shall see. Good luck to both teams.
