It wasn't long ago that Mongo Nation found themselves in a downward spiral, closing out the spring league with three consecutive brutal losses. But captain Robert Irving rallied his team to dig deep and come back strong in the Summer League. 

This time around, Mongo Nation WON their final 3 games, including back to back victories over arch-nemesis Mills Tavern, and culminating in the championship victory last Sunday vs. 10th & Willow. 

In the Title Game, Mongo was sparked by Nick Steger (3 for 5, 2 HR's, 5 RBI's), Tim Klein (2 for 5, HR, 4 RBI's) and Mike Lorenzo (5 for 5, 3 Runs). They started off hot and never looked back, scoring 7 runs in the first 3 innings.
