Despite coming out flat and allowing an early Brickwall Boozehound lead Tuesday evening, Make it a Double took care of business and wrapped up the top spot heading into the playoffs.

Brickwall put up three in the top of the first with the help of Arielle Horneck (2-2) and Jason Ross, who with his 2-2 night upped his average to .846 and wrapped up the batting title.

That would prove to be all the scoring the suffocating Make it a Double Defense would allow. Christian Royston picked up his 5th win of the season and wrapped up the pitchers triple crown. Christian also had a nice night at the plate going 3-3 with 2 Runs and 2 RBI.

JoAnn Hickey (2-4, 3R) led all ladies in batting with a .667 average and hits (14)

Brian Dombrowski (4-4, 3R) needed all 4 hits to overtake the league lead for the season with 16.

Sean Murphy (1-2, R) tied for the league lead in Runs with 13.

Mike Shephard drove in one run to clinch the league RBI lead at 13.

Todd Nilsen (2-2, R, RBI) tied the lead the Jersey Shore Division in doubles (6) and triples (3)

Player of the Game Daniel Verdersse (3-4, 3RBI) had the clutch hits all night to secure the 6-0 season for MIAD. Make it a Double will take on a surging Complex team this Tuesday at 6:45pm in a first round single elimination game.
