The EC Hawks were on fire right out of the gate, scoring in every inning in this contest(21 runs total).  Gary C. batting 7th blasted a 3 Run Home Run in the 3rd inning.  Lot’s of nice catches from both teams in this one in the outfield.  Balls that were destined to drop for a hit were caught or snagged at the last split second.  Joey G. had a great game going 5 for 5 with 4 RBI’s.  If scouts were on site, he might have gotten a contract!  Brian who was pitching for EC had a home run late in the game to seal the victory!  Daddy’s Little Helpers were giving everything they had & everyone came to play.  Every batter had at least 1 hit & Marc rocked a 3 run Home Run in the 3rd inning to keep things close.  Final Score of Game 1:  EC Hawks – 21, Daddy’s Little Helpers 9.

Game 2 was virtually a replica of Game 1.  Two fewer runs is all.  Daddy’s Little Helpers took the lead in the first inning w 4 runs on the board.  The first 4 batters(Dave, Tom, Marc & Garrett) all got on base & scored a run.  Brandon had a nice game going 3 for 3 w/ 3 singles!  The best hit of the game came from Garrett batting clean up who smashed a Grand Salami in the 1st inning!  The EC Hawks looked strong yet again scoring in every inning once again!  George S. had 4 RBIs, Joey G had 3 & Rob O dominated with 6 RBI’s!!!  Honorable mention to Eddie & Alex who scored 3 runs each at the bottom of the order.  Game 2 Final, EC Hawks 20, Daddy’s Little Helpers 8.
