This was not a football game, but the score certainly mirrored one.  Good Wood certainly brought “great wood” to this contest reeling in 33 runs in 4 innings!  Leading the way was, well, everyone!  Every batter had at least 1 hit & 1 run in this one.  Leading the way with RBI’s was Kevin Ross w/ 7 & Mike Mc at the bottom of the order with 5 RBIs.  The 3rd & 4th Innings seemed to last forever w/ 11 & 16 runs scored respectively for Good Wood.  The Kiewit Klowns kept it very close in the first 2 inning only trailing 1 run.  Kevin G. went 2 for 3 w/ 3 RBIs, while Jeff C. batted 1000.00 w/ 1 RBI.  Final Score of Game 1:  Good Wood – 33, Kiewit Klowns 5.  

Game 2.  Good Wood continued to look like a powerhouse scoring 27 runs in 6 innings, including 11 in the 3rd.  The line-up was altered a bit & Andrew the Pitcher went 4 for 5 w/ an RBI, while Mike M. was on fire going 3 for 3 w/ 2 walks, & 2 RBI’s.  Mike S. batting 5th went into beast mode going 4 for 5 w/ 9 RBIS!!!!.  Kiewit Klowns definitely brought their lumber in this one scoring 15 total runs.  Lead off man Trevor had a nice game w/ 4 RBI’s.  Batting clean up was Jeff who rocked a Home Run in 4th inning!  Shelby  & Kevin struggled going 0-8 w/ 2 walks combined.  Nick, John & Aaron all chipped in big time hits in the 3rd & 4th inning to get some runs on the board.  Final Score of Game 2:  Good Wood – 27.  Kiewit Klowns – 15.
