WAYNE, NJ -- In a league full of accomplished hitters, Kevin Galvin is sure making a name for himself. He's amassed 20 hits in his first 25 at-bats for the Kiewit Klowns, good enough for the league lead.
Galvin wasn't part of last year's Kiewit team that won the division title (and Diamond Cup), but the new addition packs some punch in the 2016 lineup. Here are his stats heading into Sunday, May 1st:
He'll have to keep smacking hits if he wants to stay atop the leaderboard. Ed Jacobo (19 hits), Jimmy Ferrero (18 hits) and Phil Cerone (18 hits) are hot on his trail, along with 6 other players tied with 17 hits.
