The Hits Keep Coming for Kiewit's' Galvin

WAYNE, NJ -- In a league full of accomplished hitters, Kevin Galvin is sure making a name for himself. He's amassed 20 hits in his first 25 at-bats for the Kiewit Klowns, good enough for the league lead.

Galvin wasn't part of last year's Kiewit team that won the division title (and Diamond Cup), but the new addition packs some punch in the 2016 lineup. Here are his stats heading into Sunday, May 1st:

He'll have to keep smacking hits if he wants to stay atop the leaderboard. Ed Jacobo (19 hits), Jimmy Ferrero (18 hits) and Phil Cerone (18 hits) are hot on his trail, along with 6 other players tied with 17 hits.

Kiewit (4-2) is ranked # 2 in overall team hits, and is tied for 2nd place in the Ted Williams Division. Can they reclaim the glory from last year's banner season? The 1st place EC Hawks (6-0) may have something to say about it. Not to mention Good Wood (4-2), who the Klowns face this Sunday.
