Front Flags and Prime Time Engage in a Nailbiter

HOBOKEN, April 26 - Prime Time and Front Flags = Ball Grabs are two teams of surly veterans at this point, so close games are not uncommon territory for either of them.

Last Sunday they engaged in flag football warfare of the best kind. Front Flags mounted the first offensive and started off the skirmish up by 6 after the first half. Prime Time got back into the fight in the second though and made the game quite close.

Prime Time has had a changing of the guard over the last few season. After their first few season with pocket passer Marco Basualdo under center, they have now gone with a more mobile approach with QB Alfredo Carillo

Carillo's ability to miss defenders is quite impressive. He has proven as a QB to be extremely hard to sack, and as a receiver he is equally as elusive.

Against FFBG Carillo looked to receiver Edgar Nieves after he had scrambled his way out of trouble on many occasions. Nieves hauled in seven passes, two of which went for scores in the come back effort.

Front Flags QB Brett Pariser was pretty efficient in his effort Sunday afternoon. Of his seven completions three went for scores. One to Dan Blackton and two to Josh Biegel

Prime Time put up a late score in the waning minutes, but all Front Flags had to do was run the clock to win the game 21-18.
