Mongo Nation Beats HRCF Despite Big Night from Brizz

HOBOKEN, April 19 - Mongo Nation was in mid-season form last night on defense and offense. The Nation's walls are apparently strong. The infield can gobble up slow rollers and cover ground with accurate arms to boot. So sneaking on base via free-pass is not something they will lose sleep about if they keep up the solid play.

There is a way to beat that though. The long ball. You can't catch what you can't touch. Mike Brizz of Hudson River Crossfit knows that all too well.

Brizz has slugged in the past, and he is starting off this season on a high note as he attempted to trump the Mongo Nation defense and put three on the playground for 7 RBI.

Mike Brizz, (3-3) 3HR,3R,7RBI

Mongo Nation's offense was more steady though with Andrew Pags, Tim Klein and Nick Steger each driving in three.

Steger and Brizz are currently at the top of the RBI leaders list. Brizz with 11, and Steger with 9.
