Ty Patterson Goes Off

HOBOKEN, February 5 - Some stars shine brighter than the others in the sky, and last night Ty Patterson of Ultron shined the brightest of them all.

Though he would not have been able to be so effective on the way to a 35 point night without the creative pass plays his team mates were engineering. The plan seemed evident. Feed Ty the ball, and Ultron fed him constantly with highlight reel assists.

Patterson also put on a defensive clinic with 5 steals and had two assists of his own with 11 boards. Even when he was not the focus of a planned attack he would beat his defenders one on one in the paint for a quick two. Overall one of the most impressive nights an ABL player has had in this league.

Despite the fantastic performance Ultron and MFESCHO still had quite a battle. The first half finished 26 to 29 in favor of Ultron. MFESHCO just kept playing their gritty game despite the offensive show Patterson was putting on and they stayed neck and neck.

Rich Nolin of MFESHCO was fighting hard under the basket trying to keep the scoring pace up. Nolin snagged 11 rebounds and scored 12 hard fought points for his team.

James VonBischoffhausen also nailed four three-pointers for 12 points, but they could not manage to spoil the solid game Ultron was having as the game ended 52 - 59 in favor of Ultron.

The big night puts Ty Patterson at the top of the coveted scoring leader list and moves Ultron to 2-2 while dropping MFESHCO to 0-4.
