Getcha' Popcorn Ready's Leagacy Grows

HOBOKEN, September 30 - For a long time Getcha' Popcorn Ready has been dominating in the ABL with grace and skill. So far in this young Fall Season their legacy remains intact with a 2-0 record after downing Bonnet Shore Legends 27-7.

Keeping GPR to just 27 points is almost an accomplishment in itself though. Bonnet Shore is certainly a sleeper team in the Fall season with a sturdy WR core of Michael Feliciano and Andrew Solomon, and now have added defensive sack master Dennis Guillen of the former Scrape City fame, a team that did not suffer a loss on their way to a Spring title.

Guillen, who notched two sacks on shifty GPR QB Lou Vigliotti was that absolute star on the Scrape defense last season and the addition should bolster their chances at gaining a playoff berth.

Despite the pressure Lou Vig was still on point in the contest throwing four TD passes. Two to Christian Verc, one to Mike Miller and one to Chase Nadell

For the Legends Andrew Solomon notched the only TD pass and hauled in seven passes while Mike Feliciano did the chain work with four receptions.

Bonnet Shore can chalk this up as a learning experience from a very good team. There is still a ton of football to be played and the playoffs are in reach for any team willing to put in the work.

Lou Vig now moves into first place in the passing TD in a tie with who else but Jordan Descafano of the rival 10th & Willow squad. So far on the season Lou  Vig has an %80 completion rate and no interceptions. At some point Getcha Popcon and 10&W will have to clash. Though a surly 3 N Out Squad now poses a serious threat in the ABL North after defeating 10&W recently.

Some great match ups await...stay tuned.
