Prime Time

HOBOKEN, September 29  - Prime Time (1-1) was up to their old tricks again on the ABL gridiron Monday night against the Degenerates (1-1).

On defense Dilson Mercado stalled two drives by the Degenerates with a couple momentum crushing interceptions at mid-field.

Omar Ahmed chipped in a safety and Ahmed Mohson caught Degenerate QB John McDermott twice for a couple sacks.

McDermott was stifled in the game with just seven completions. His favorite target was Ben Heller who hauled in three passes and scored a TD.

On offense for Prime Time it was Alfie Carillo putting on the highlight reel display every time he touched the ball. Carillo dipped and danced his way all over the field for eight receptions, a TD and a ton of yardage.

Carillo proved to be a serious threat on underneath throws who can pile up yards after the catch and move the chains.

The win locks both teams at 1-1 in the jumbled up ABL South Division. Still anyone's trophy to win down in the South as the season is still quite young.
