For the second straight game Mongo Nation continued to impress on both sides of the field, holding Angry Alehouse Leprechauns to only 2 runs, while scoring 8.

Pitcher Andrew Paganucci threw 7 innings allowing only 6 hits with the help of his teammates' solid defensive front.

Offensively, Mongo Nation was led by Nick Steger, who went 3-3 with a homerun, triple, double, three runs scored and 4 RBIs.  Tim Klein also had a solid night with a homerun and 3 RBIs.

For the Leprechauns Steve Leps went 2-3 on the night with a double and a single and Erik Burger drove in the team's only run on a sac fly.

Mongo Nation improves to 2-0 and claims first place in the East Division, while the Leprechauns drop to 0-2.  Both teams return to action on October 4th.
